And God said "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. God called the dry ground "land", and the gathered waters be called "seas". And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to the various kinds." And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw it was good.
Genesis 1:9-12

Mingle Place by The Park is the fourth in the Mingle Genesis series representing the third day of God's creation.
When selecting the site, the utmost care was taken to ensure the ultimate level of convenience. Mingle Place by The Park is merely 5 minutes' walk to the MTR (subway) station and 10 minutes' walk to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is also within 10 minutes by car or 5 minutes by MTR (subway) to Central (CBD), Tsim Sha Tsui (prime shopping district), Causeway Bay (another prime shopping district), and is surrounded by major dining and shopping choices. You literally do not need to venture far to go anywhere, to get the best food or to enjoy the best shopping.

The building itself is a vintage, 1960's old-Hong Kong residential building. It was acquired in February 2008, and it took nearly one full year for renovations and conversion — the longest and hardest the Group has yet encountered.
A great deal of time was spent in research to bring back the classical themes and design elements of the early 1960's. While being as original and authentic as possible, a balance is kept for full functionality, efficiency and convenience to staying guests. Great effort was made in retaining as much of the original structure and building materials as possible.

All historical photos, pictures, artworks, antique pieces and collectables displayed in the hotel were procured individually with reference to the years, places and themes. They were sourced from different corner shops, museums, and antique collectors all around Hong Kong. They show people living in Hong Kong in the 1960's and onwards toiling and giving their hard work to build up a prosperous city that is the marvel today.
